Jivamukti Yoga – The Wild Child of Yoga
Saturday 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Taught in English
Suitable for all levels
Jivamukti Yoga has been described as the wild child of yoga and with good reason. It challenges your perception of yoga as a merely physical practice. It is a re-integrating yoga method combining a dynamic and vigorous yoga practice, deep stretches and a long and luxurious shavasana with sanskrit chanting, uplifting music, intention setting and meditation. Join us for an inspiring, uplifting and challenging yoga practice that will reconnect you with your inner wild child. Tine Kotzé will guide you safely deeper into the asanas using her voice and hands-on assists.
Tine Kotzé is a 300 hour certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher. She teaches weekly classes, workshops and retreats. She is also the founder of Yoga for Peace, which hosts yoga events for charity.
Tine has a deep commitment to social and political subjects such as human rights, environmentalism and veganism and she weaves these subjects into the physical practice providing you with guidance to explore the deeper layers and inter-connectedness of yoga. She hopes to leave you feeling inspired, uplifted and empowered to take yoga off the mat and into the world.
