Literally it is the "science of life" and is often referred to as the sister science of yoga.  Ayurveda aims to bring balance into the body, mind & spirit through the removal of dis-ease, and by remembering our own true nature.

Come to this workshop to learn about the foundations of Ayurveda, the three Doshas, prakruti v. vikruti, and your personal constitution.

Sacred Pause: Yoga Nidra Meditation

Contemplation Corner

Sunday 3:45 pm - 5:00 pm

Restorative Yoga

Taught in English

Suitable for all levels

Join teacher Jessica Winderl for a gentle guided meditation experience that is designed to recharge your batteries, calm your mind, and connect to your heart’s greatest desire. Yoga Nidra is the “sleep of the yogis”, and is a relaxation technique and guided meditation that allows a student to exist in a state of consciousness that is in-between sleep and being fully awake. Yoga nidra is a verbally guided experience that includes a body scan, visualization, and identifying a sankalpa (intention) to focus your thoughts and energy on. It aims to reduce stress, fatigue, anxiety, and tension as it deeply nourishes the body, mind, and spirit. The sacred pause of this meditation creates the time and space to identify goals, shift energy, and clarify your purpose.  No movement is required- the meditation is practiced in savasana!
